Who We Are

My name is Ray Blount and I am the owner of First Hand Experience Professional Massage Studio. I am Nationally Certified (332108-00), State Licensed (MT000031), and have more than 10 years massage experience in the Atlanta Area. I left corporate America because I wanted to help those in my community, and have dedicated the last 10 years of my life doing just that with the art of therapeutic massage.

First Hand Experience is a full service therapeutic massage therapy studio offering Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, sports, myofascial release and Thai (mostly stretching) modalities. Ray Blount You can expect the first massage session to last about 90 minutes. During the first massage appointment we will get a detailed medical history, work with you to determine any issues that may need addressed, and then begin your customized massage.

Call to Schedule Your Massage Appointment

In order to better serve your schedule, First Hand Experience is open for massage by appointment only. Taking this appoach allows us to be open 7 days a week and available between the hours of 10am to 10pm. The calendar below shows our current availability. We ask that if you have to reschedule or cancel an appointment for any reason that you provide at least 24 hours notice.

Directions: Turn off of Piedmont Rd, using the driveway between Axiom Salon for Men and Saigon Basil. Continue down the hill passing the mailboxes and dumpsters on your left. Park between the D and E buildings. Climb the stairs leading to the second floor of the D building. Suite 480 will be directly in front of you. The second floor of this building is not handicap accessible. We regret any inconvenience.
